1. 匆忙的;倉促的 A hasty movement, action, or statement is sudden, and often done in reaction to something that has just happened.

3. 魯莽的;沖動(dòng)的;草率的 If you describe a person or their behaviour as hasty, you mean that they are acting too quickly, without thinking carefully, for example because they are angry.
e.g. So let's not be hasty. After all, he can't run away... 所以我們不要魯莽行事。畢竟他是跑不掉的。 e.g. A number of the United States' allies had urged him not to take a hasty decision. 美國的一些盟友已力勸他不要急于作決定。
